Red and white spiral striped
Straw that I used to slurp
Golden sunshine out of the blue sky
And neon green Fireflies
Made worthy onlookers at night
As i dipped the moon in its milky light
But those times are gone
And life has moved on
From being a realm of possibilities
To a finite reality
And now
I sit unsheltered under steel clouds
As it rains down razer blades
On my skinless body
Day in and day out
I have grown up, but cannot adapt
Some people just are guilt and stars
Breeze and suffering
Light and dark
Miles apart,
From your hallowed normalcy
